Right setting myself a personal challenge: Try to in to bed before midnight. Problem for me is if I in to bed 'early' (for me) then I normally can't sleep. So fingers crossed, in bed before midnight and attempt to sleep before 1am......

Night All I managed it and slept through until about 20 to 5. So really good for me.
Now the question is, can I make it a repeat performance?

:-*No parcel for me today. Maybe tomorrow. ;-|Had a refund for a replacement tuber, that was a replacement tuber for a tuber that we have previously ordered. Time to give up on that one I think.

Mind you I keep nodding off so if I suddenly type a load of gibberish, I've fallen asleep at the computer.
I need a coffee!

Can't do them all tonight but here's the start of my tuber update. Starting with one of Dad's. Just waking up.
This is 11 from 2013 (formally 23 from 2013).

I really did need that coffee. I was telling a friend about the girls getting changed after school in their uniform and actually typed 'digestive' Seriously I don't know what part of my brain links uniform with digestives (nb Non specific chocolate or plain) but at that point I made the coffee. Well the caffine kicked in and I'm wide awake, I now need to try and go to sleep. So last update for now. In theory.
So can I rise to the challenge a 2nd night running. In bed before midnight. So signing off now, Night night - don't let the digestive biscuits bite back.

Tomorrow I am going to post a photo of the Downham Royal tuber that arrived today :-*which doesn't look half as plump as my tubers.

Straight out of the bag...
unravelled spaghetti tentacles...
tentacles trimmed...
broken, split and damaged lobes.
I thought it looked like a giant ant or prey-mantis
Left the tuber on the table when I came with the girls, Fairy walked in the room and went:
"Ahhh Tarantula!!!!!" "That freaked me out Mummy! That really freaked me out Mummy!!!"
I am going to show it to my Dad but I think that only 3 of the lobes are attached (rather than dangling), so I expect that I may as well trim those off as well.
The good thing about having 'chicken wings' from the US I'm not afraid of having only a bit of a tuber. Where as before I was more freaked out than fairy when I touched the brittle broken limp tuber.
I think that there may be a viable eye point.

Now this is how tubers should look like Greenways Zoe
with one Rycroft Zoe in front.
couldn't take a better photo because I am not tall enough to reach over properly
haven't tried to do close ups on the eyes - thought the green says it plenty.
Thank You scrumpy looking forward to seeing them in all their glory.
