Last nights seedlings.
I made up some of Moonlight's spotty compost. (Added vermiculite in with the compost, as I have a tendancy to be heavy handed with the watering, trying not to rot them.)
Introducing batch 1 of my Bill seedlings. (Fred was so last year )

I've just taken my 1st 6 cuttings down to my greenhouse, to meet their new family but I'll bring them back up later at bed time. It's not that warm yet but I've put them under a piece of newspaper for a little bit of extra protection and sprayed it. They can also multitask and do a bit of reading while they are at it.

I've been lent some reading material:
Now a couple of years ago I would have thought that anyone that had read a copy was mad but now, well actually it is quite interesting and as you can see from the paper, I've been taking notes.

Also wanted to show my 'naughty' (the ones we had to pay customs charge.)tubers.
This is how they were packed.
Inside was each chicken leg (n.b. we had actually ordered the pot roots) which is alive and well with it's big white shoot.
Lying on the compost bed.
Dad's lying on top of the compost...
All tucked in.

It's not arrived yet so I've sent a message to the supplier.

Those tubers all settled and all the shoots have turned a deep purple colour.
