I'm happy now, the hedgehog is back, I saw him/her last night about 10.30 & put some hedgehog food out. I must remember to put the wildlife camera back out to see if I can get any photos of it but to be honest I think it's easier to sneak out with a torch & snap a photo!

I must try putting some food out SueA, I'm hoping at least one of the two I was seeing regularly last year is still around here. Now that the evenings will be getting lighter I'll keep a look-out I'm glad yours has returned

that's great Sue at least you know it survived the winter ok, I did have one coming in last year, but I feel that the return of the badger will probably put it off, also the mess of brambles that were next door have been cleared and gravel put down, great for me, but for the wildlife that probably lived there, not so good

I hope your hedgehogs come back as well peony & grindle, I was a bit worried about ours as we've tidied the garden up & got rid of the brambles & a lot of the ivy at the end of the garden but I suppose they will still visit for food & eventually the plants will grow & provide cover. I'd be worried if I was a hedgehog with a badger nearby grindle, don't they eat them?

They do indeed grindle. But your right Dai nature can be very cruel, nothing goes to waste in nature.

Keep the pics coming Sue. Sue, our allotments are hoping to put cameras into the wildlife area we are creating. May I ask what yours is?
