That's ok @raymond....everyone to their own. Now R.Pixie....she is a lovely dahlia....much more lively...I have several plants.... Yes - each to their own. I grew Weston Spanish Dancer, Weston Miss, Weston Flamingo and Weston Pirate, in my first year. I liked all of them but Pirate is still my favourite and of the Westons Spanish Dancer is my second. I have been growing Spanish Dancer from that same 1st tuber. I grew Weston Stardust last year but mine wasn't as good as the ones that I had seen in shows. Weston Corsair is similar to Weston Pirate but more petit and that is one that I will carry on growing it. I like Weston Buccaneer as well but that is only just getting going. Each to their own and don't forget tastes change...

This has to be my star dahlia of the year. Ryecroft zoe. Thank you scrumpy super impressed with this dahlia. Picture taken this morning. Wave after wave of great blooms. Greenways zoe also superb and has great potential and I am being asked for stock ! Tough **** they ain't getting any ! Hahaha bar two good friends. I find the only trouble with it is not all blooms get the Blush tint in the centre. Some are pure yellow and it is slightly softer petalled than the original. A pure yellow greenways zoe With just a touch of blush on outer petals. Not disbudding now letting it go wild until end of month . Ruskin Andrea, senzoe Ursula and winholm Diane also really impressing me. Some great blooms off them. Diakra superb jury is out on that one. In terms of min cactus I think Tom mcclelland is the best one I have followed by ryecroft pixie. Medium semi cactus none have been stellar but I think Ruskin Michelle has the most potential for me if I can get the size followed by narrows Sonia. Hillcrest candy good dahlia yes but just does not excite me. Grenidor pastelle very good but does not take the weather and massively tall over 7 foot ! Haha Got lots of dead heading to do did all the decs and collarettes yesterday. More to do tomorrow and next few days. Clearview edie opening now. Trying as a medium at 7up in a pot. Now 7.5 foot tall.

Raymond super to see all the varieties, thank you, 7.5' crikey. Lol. I love collatrettes/singles for ches' pollinators (we have increased our pollinators ten fold this year just having dahlias which is awesome.)how can a girl say no to these stunning cacti ones of yours? If it makes a tuber Cat you can have it. I like it but must be ruthless in what I grow .
