Decided growing this in more numbers next year If there is a tuber Narrows Sonia. This bloom much better length of stem. Grown from a wing bud. Needs a lot of potash for the neck as weak. About 5 foot at flowering height . Big plant . What you think ian ste b dcdahlia got any potential as a show bloom its med semi cactus about half inch off ring. Had bigger ones with more petal off crown bud.

I thought I would try Clearview edie as a medium. Grew it 6up wings and one pair down in a pot. Reasonably pleased with it. Cut it this morning taking to Kent meeting tomorrow for some judges to have a look at. Think it is better as a large. Makes the medium ring ok centre is a little large and petals at back not great but not bad for first attempt I think and hope. Also lacks some depth but not giving a lot of water now.

Narrows Sonia , looks a bit flat and no depth to me , but it is late in the season and you say grown on a wing bud , it's got good colour give it a try on crown bud , 4 up might make a large.

Depth improved in water ste b I had bigger blooms earlier but weak stems. I like it and got the ds seal of approval I want to grow it again not sure if medium or large. As medium 7up and makes good size. Is it better than candy ? For me yes my candy not very good . Only mediums good for me this and kenora sunset, grenidor pastelle got the size but not the form cannot take the weather. Michelle will try again but I need to grow it 4up to even get near the size needed. I grow a nice Ruskin michelle as a small ! Haha toying with trying hamari accord or even a moonlight. Although no one seems to be able to grow a decent moonlight down here.
