garden dahlias? please explain what you mean by garden dahlias. As there seems to be some discussion on the new thread I am posting Ches pictures here. My humble opinion, is that every show dahlia, can be a garden dahlia, not every garden dahlia, can be a show dahlia. Agree entirely Tel. Here are some of the blooms we took to New Covent Garden Flwoer Market this week, I thought the forum might be interested: www.withypitts-dahlias.co.uk/NCGM_Flower_Gallery/album/index.html

Thank you everyone.
I hoe we are succeeding in making dahlias popular again as cut flowers by showng people just how brilliant they can be as opposed to the poor stuff that is imported.

Dare I ask how growers are doing with Jersie personally I don't care if I never see another bloom of it. But being a competent judge I saw two very good blooms of it on Wednesday. But I have heard that it is breaking down already oh what a shame (good) a bit like the raiser. If I would have bought that I would not be very happy at all and the plants would have been sent back from where they came. So how are the doing? ? I really do think Scrumpys Zoe sport is as good if not a little better (my opinion)
