I think the lands been sold so yes it will be built on as long as we dont get flats i dont mind (the sun rises from that direction). As a near neighbour, you should be told what sort of development is planned. It looks quite a large area!

Oh it is a large area , I don't know how many blocks of houses (4 on each block) (Not all the house's are gone yet), and a smaller area to the right were bungalows were. Id be annoyed if we didn't get to know or have a say, but we've been kept up to date so far and are told when demolition is set for all the blocks. Demolition (looks like a few houses down filmed this) www.youtube.com/watch?v=VZ-ev3rRIWwThis shows the area of land sorry if its boring . They were/are 1940s pre fabs that were thrown up after the war so needed to come down) (it cuts off just behind next doors fence i think our dogs may have upset his ) www.youtube.com/watch?v=H5Q2JdUNnpY&NR=1

That's a heck of a lot of houses they've cleared there, it will be great to see the area regenerated, and will be good for you as well ;D

My Mum thought it was great because it had a fitted kitchen with a fridge and she'd only had a larder with a marble slab before that. It was considered very "modern" in those days

Did you know that prefabs were only supposed to last for 10 - 15 years? Amazing that some are still up and doing.
