Cheers Diggie,, having a few practice runs was invaluable, now I'd use Oasis exclusively, speeds up staging the blooms and you make a better job. I have a 28" cane to help with the exhibit height but not being too precise about it. I use my bikini vases at home for surplus blooms and it looks like a florists shop at times. Are you showing yourself this year Diggie?

Yes David, show coming up 12th September. Hope to exhibit 6 or 7 vases. Last year I only did 2 vases.

Good luck to anyone showing at the Northwest Dahlia society annual show which is being held Wednesday 2nd September. Thanks Steve, Pack the Veg in? Noooooo way, saying that, every year I seem to grow more and more Dahlias. You or Ian would get about 500 plants on my plot!
