Good show at Ramsbottom yesterday. Very good turn out. Flowers and Dahlias in particular were of the highest standard. I managed 2 thirds with Marston George` and Ruskin Myra. Got most points in Veg with Potatoes shallots Runners etc. A bloke called Sutherland took most of the Dahlia classes ...

Good luck to anyone showing at the Northwest Dahlia society annual show which is being held Wednesday 2nd September. Good luck Steve B I hope you continue with your recent success but not quite as good as Saturday as I am hoping to put up in the Championship Hehe Good luck Mate see you in the small hours. Dianthus and Lou, Basket is not mine but couldn't resist getting a pic! All Dahlias there were top notch and I was happy with my 2 thirds in small catus and min dec.

Dave Spencer won the Sussex championship on a tie breaker with Andrew aspital. Andrew won poms Dave won best exhibit with Oakwood goldcrest.

Northwest dahlia show , Ian won the championship with great entry challenger , trelyn kiwi , Mary's jomanda, gurtla which went on to win best vase of Poms in show , jimmy higg was 2nd and I was third there was nine strong entries , Ian won the Poms, I won mini decs and mini ball class it was a fantastic dahlia show. Going to change my lucky T shirt now.
