You are like putting up the baubles on the tree SueA. We love to see the pics of Manchester every Christmas. Please keep posting.

I love seeing the pictures too SueA, but they can keep the blue cheese, it's revolting stuff, My Mam used to love it, it stunk the fridge out!

I love the markets too I just don't like to bore everyone with the same thing every year but I suppose there are some new members who haven't seen them before. The funny thing is that a lot of the stalls are the same ones in exactly the same place each year but there are some new ones this year & the market is bigger & spread over more streets. I always try & get a mug too although I haven't got every year, you pay a deposit on the mug which you can return for a refund or just keep the mug, they have Manchester Market & the year & usually come in a different colour or design each year. I can't stand 'blue' cheese either Rosie , smells like old socks!

How about some salami? or maybe some Pringles ( other snack-based Christmas trees are probably available! )

Are you really daithegrinch daitheplant ?
I like Christmas, especially if I had someone to share the festivities with, and not spend a week holed up in the kitchen.
As a special treat, I bought a Dover Sole, in Icicleland, to have for my birthday lunch just after Boxing Day. I thought it would be a change from cold chicken!
