I'm afraid so - I've been out and weeded a bit, cleared some soggy leaves off the front of a border and cut off a few more dead stems - I can't walk on the borders, so I'll have to get a rake out. There are lots of new shoots and snowdrops under the soggy leaves. I'm only tidying up at the moment, nothing else. It's nice to see green shoots appearing, though!

Where do you buy your trees/plants from, WF ? I didn't buy this one it was given to me. I help an old friend who can no longer manage his garden. He is always asking me to dig up trees and shrubs so he can put something new in. He insists I take the ones which come out home. I can't complain, he's given me some beautiful plants over the years, all they need is a bit of TLC. The ones I don't like mysteriously die. ;D

Yesterday I put the two meta-posts in for my new runner bean supports. I was a bit too enthusiastic with the sledge hammer and managed to break the path while leavering them back out again. Concrete mixer will be out today ;D
