Wow! cleaning, cutting and storing all those tubers is going to take you some time johndoe . It must be a labour of love. I do hope next year will be better for showing your beautiful flowers. Yes, Ladybird, normally takes about 3 weeks, and as you can imagine it's not my favourite job of the dahlia year . Just over 600 in the ground and about 200 pot tubers to sort out, most will be kept and the rest will go Ebay.
All the wire support and posts removed today. Another couple of weeks and I'll start lifting the ones I'll be selling, then the others will follow.
