My grapes have only just started forming, yours look almost ready for picking. Are they going to be sweet for eating or for wine?

its a variety called 'marechal foch' and its meant to be specifically bred for the uk climate and cooler temps, as it can go down to -15. its a red wine making variety - so i'm sorted! yes steve, i will be *reluctantly* thinning the drupes, but i alway go for quality over quantity

I have been after Clematis 'Niobe' for a while and i finally succumbed on Saturday, next i was some Helianthemums ;D

I am not being rude. I need an extra lesson.

After i had taken the dahlia plants for the trial, i called in a garden centre on the way home, the OH wanted dahlia Bishop of Llandaff, they did not have it, but i still came away with a plant. Geranium, Walters Gift.
