Fothergilla is fussy about soil and I even suspect that it doesn't even like my water. It's a beautiful shrub though, lucky you to be able to enjoy it's gorgeous autumn colours.

Not at all silly Cherry, that is right for you, peoples eyes see plants differently, personally it is the different shades of ferny foliage I like (being a lover of ferny foliage)
