If you keep posting such beautiful plants and shrubs, I'll have to start digging up the ones I've got to make space, SteveN! ;D I love that Halesia.

I'll no doubt be spending some of my Birthday money on a few new plants soon. I was going to get a lovely Halesia in full flower from work. Unfortunately, a customer beat me to it! ::)And it wasn't me.....for a change...lol ...it is lovely though.....when are you getting them in again?

Lou, next time you are at Belsay, look at the huge clumps of S. sorbifolia just before you go into the quarry garden by the metal gate across the path. Will do.....we are about due a trip there again soon ;D

I've seen the seeds hanging on one at a garden somewhere, not really seen the seed for sale though. Halesia is related to another much coveted genus of shrubs....Styrax. I would love to get one of either

My mum asked me to get a white Clematis for a spot she has in mind in the garden. I rang her to say what we have in white (almost every colour but!) at the minute. After describing the four or five whites she plumped for Sweet Sensation. Anyway, whilst looking I thought I would get myself one too as I don't have a single Clematis in mine (the shame of it). I went for the lovely blue Polish variety Blekitny Aniol (Blue Angel). I'd heard it was a goodun'.
