Lovely photos, folks! About the Teucrium - I cut all the dead flowers off quite hard, but still need to trim it in the spring. I suppose it is a bit like Lavender for that. It's a tough plant - seems very hardy. I inherited two and planted another one 6 years ago. I think it probably prefers a well-drained soul, and definitely in a sunny postion - again. like Lavender! ;D

Now that's queer because here it's noticeably aphid free this year - i'm usually swamped with 'em.

I've been free of aphids until 2 weeks ago but they've all gone. I haven't many tits but I think all the Spuggies have eaten them.

I haven't had many either. I did find red perils on my lilies this afternoon, though - the ones in pots that have finished flowering. I had to squish about 6, plus grubs.

Great photos on the other page. I like that rose 'Catherine' and the dahlias. I've only got one
I've got problems with aphids in my conservatory, especially on Iresine and Streptocarpus. I've put them outside now. I hope that makes them go away. There are not many in the garden at all this year.

Grindle, they are gorgeous and fuchsias are not my favourite, but some are very nice, and that bottom pic is a lovely colour. The clematis are worth propagating. I mentioned on here that I accidently cut one stem of Clematis macropetala, so i cut it into three and rooted each one. They are healthier than the small ones from mail order companies. Bigger, with good root systems. They have been potted on and are outside. do you root them in a heated propagator Cherry?

I bought a grafted tom to try it.... I tried those and wasn't impressed. The ferns look amazing en masse This year I have found all my clematis and hardy fuchsias have been the best they have ever been, I wonder if it was the cold winter? Eva boerg This one is not hardy, Bella Rosella (commonly referred to as Mrs Blousey ;D) And my garden enjoying the rain
