...I wasn't going to resurrect Lou's Lottie 2011....as I felt there were enough lottie blogs to keep most folk interested......however......we have started to erect the polytunnel and thought perhaps some of you may be slightly interested in its progress....so here are a few pics.... The blossom on "Lord Lambourne" Have moved fruit bushes to one bed along with the apple and rasps....there is another apple to go in and there is a plum on order......Just planted a honeyberry alongside the gooseberry and the blue berries Have planted more onions today......including some red. Garlic is alongside cabbage and calabrese.........Some lettuce planted at the end of the potato bed.... Gave the dahlia beds a good rake over today and hoed to a fine tilth

Looking good Louise. we got the door frames done on my one last night, so at the weekend it'll be trenching it. Hopefully it will be calm enough to get the cover on

Thank you Sue and Rosie We are starting on fitting the doors tomorrow; Brian made them up in the garage. There is a sliding door and a normal opening door. Today we (he ) finished off the frame, tightening screws and wrapping a special tape rouind the ends of the ridge. The anti hot spot tape will go on tomorrow ;D I planted chives and parsley today and gave the strawberries a good water....there are plenty of flowers on the plants. I also noticed signs of potato shoots appearing ;D

Brian is a busy man, when are you going to make a start then Lou, or are you still a Supervisor.

Brian is a busy man, when are you going to make a start then Lou, or are you still a Supervisor. Cheeky ....how do you think those beds became weed free and hoed to a fine tilth Building work is Brian's territory....I do the motivating bit, such as "when is it going to be finished" ......joking aside....he is doing a marvellous job and I am happy for him to be "Gaffa" for the project
