Thanks for the comments about the photo, I'm not that good, I just have a fairly steady hand & lots of patience! I creep up slowly on anything 'alive' & try to take lots of pics. of them without disturbing them. The camera's only a compact with a zoom. Everything in the garden is a bit overgrown at the moment & a lot of the flowers are past their best so I'm having to look hard to find any to put on here! ;D

I thought I'd show you a photo of 'Calypso' as the flower looked so pretty yesterday. I'm so pleased I found it. This is 'Dancing Queen'. I love the shape of the flowers. Finally, I spotted a new Geranium at the GC...yes, another one for the collection! ;D It's beautiful. It's a sport from 'Rozanne' and its name is 'Lilac Ice' which suits it very well.

The 'Calypso' is a very pretty colour, I like 'Dancing Queen' too, I almost bought that last year.

Did you buy something different, Sue? I'm so pleased with it - the shape of the flowers is lovely, The final rose has an open bloom now - it's 'Pink Perpetue' which I inherited elsewhere in the garden, so I knew I'd like it. The third of the new Clems also has a flower...it's a single one. This is one of the Clems that has double flowers earlier on, then the second flush is single. It's called 'Lasting Love'.

Yes Geranium, I bought 'Compassion' instead but that's been very disappointing so far this year.

That's a shame, Sue. I hope it finds its feet (or roots! ;D) next year. I have two more new Geraniums, bought at the Plant Heritage Fair on Saturday. This one is 'Havana Blues'. And this is 'Bob's Blunder' - bred by Bob Brown. He won't tell anyone why he called it that! It isn't really in flower now - I think that's probably the last one for this year. A few other plants in my garden - Caryopteris Schizostylis coccinea Potentilla x hopwoodiana

Well, I did toy with the idea, but it seems to be a lot of hassle, Cherry, so as I'll have my work cut out getting the garden up to scratch for opening again next year, I think not.

Well Geranium it seems as if you have the requirements and you certainly have the knowledge, so maybe one day.
