Great pics on there for high summer. My Love Lies Bleeding is never successful. I might give it another try.

Lovely photos of your plants everyone. I particularly like Phlox, but all mine are slow this year.
This is Sanguisorba tenuifolia alba :-

That Love-lies-bleeding is kind of awesome - so bright. I always want to stroke it I'm envious of your Jasmine, Tel. So delicate and I bet it smells luscious.

Here's a tile of Clematis viticella 'Alba Luxurians' which has gone crazy this year. It's far too vigorous for the obelisk, so it's wending its way through other plants as well. Anthemis 'E.C. Buxton'. My Phlox are mostly in bloom now - we do seem to be ahead of most of you.

Oooh ! What a lovely Clematis Geranium My Phlox are starting to open now. I think the hot dry weather has held things back here.
Here's a lovely Clematis on my fence, and guess what - I can't remember it's name. It's Madame something I think ... maybe someone could help me ?

View Attachment Madame Julia Correvon I think Hywel. I've got this one and mine's flowering at the moment. Lovely, and reliable clematis.

I have the blue one, too, peony and @hywel - 'Caerula Luxurians'. It isn't nearly as vigorous.

Ah yes, that's it. I remember now you've said it. Thank you Peony. I'll have to write it down. (can't rely on memory any more )
That's another nice one Geranium.
I love my Veronica so I've shown some photos of it. It suffered a bit in the heat, but it's under a standard Cotoneaster, so it's not too bad.
The little climbing rose in the 3rd photo is Francine Austin. It's many years old, and is one of my favourite roses ... although it is rather thorny ...
