I wish I had know that @hywel. Tel, that is amazing! I could not have grown it. My Hoya carnosa is flowering better than it has ever done before. I think I remember Fractal telling us not to cut off the tiny bit of stem from where the flower actually bloomed. He might come and tell us again the reason for this. Is the blue one a Gentian? I don't know what the other is. There could be too much sun on it. You don't cut off that bit Cherry cos the new flowers will grow from that bit, it's called a penduncle. My Hoya is flowering great too, not stopped since March. They like to be potbound too, that keeps them flowering.

Thanks Rosie and Hywel. I saw these growing wild in the Daintree Forest in North Queensland. My daughter has one growing on the trellis which is part of the carport. She hacks it back, along with everything else in this jungle.

It must be wonderful to see that garden in Australia. No frost ... that would suit me.
Here's a nice little shrub I have in a pot - Indigofera tinctoria

And I don't remember the name of this. It sounds similar to Sempervivum, but it isn't.

It looks similar to my Indigofera, @hywel, which isn't a small one for a pot - it's called 'Silk Road'. My older Hibiscus has lots of buds on it and one open flower. I'm so pleased! I can't make the photo appear atm.

Geranium that is your clean car, not a hibiscus. That is my favourite colour for a car. Wow!

Oh no, it has gone. It was what I knew as British Racing Green. You have to be quick on this forum.

I can't make the photo appear atm. I'm keeping the Indigofera in a pot because I don't think they are hardy enough to be in the ground here. All we need is one very cold night and it might kill it. I've had it about 3 years now, and I'll put it in a bigger tub when it grows. I hope you can upload a photo of your Hibiscus soon. I wonder what colour it is. I've got a nice blue one which I brought here from my father's garden. He only liked blue flowers ... I think I uploaded a photo of it recently.

Strangely one of the 'Illumination Pink' foxgloves which flowered & went over weeks ago has decided to send up a new flower spike at the top!
