I wish I had know that @hywel. Tel, that is amazing! I could not have grown it. My Hoya carnosa is flowering better than it has ever done before. I think I remember Fractal telling us not to cut off the tiny bit of stem from where the flower actually bloomed. He might come and tell us again the reason for this. Is the blue one a Gentian? I don't know what the other is. There could be too much sun on it. Indeed Cherry. The stalk has future bud tissue on the tip that flowers again and again. This stalk slowly elongated over time with each new flowering.

Thankyou Fractal. I should have taken more notice when you originally told us this. I saw Hoya carnosa growing wild up trees in the Daintree Forest, North Queensland.

Some more of the cheap lilies have opened, they are a lovely rich burgundy colour, doesn't show up very well in the photos, they fade to a lighter red. First ones complete with ladybird & Red Spur apples! Some of the Apricot Shades begonias still flowering.

Thank you Lesley.
Nice rich colours on those flowers Sue. I have Begonias but they haven't opened yet - they are very slow.

I had to look hard for the ladybird SueA. Those colours are amazing and late lilies are very useful.

Thanks, the lilies were a nice surpirse, there are still some more to come out yet, they look like they may be white from the buds. Your begonias sound very late @hywel but that's a good thing, it'll extend the season nicely.
