Thanks SueA, I shall let Graham know. We have a security camera set that will be installed when my dearly beloved can climb a ladder. That takes night time film so we may set one up overlooking the garden. Thats exactly how they sound dianthus , the male is so brightly coloured. They don't fly away as quickly now, maybe they are getting used to seeing us around the garden

I was in the polytunnel seeing as it was raining, I potted on some Echinops that were grown from seed, made a contraption to support the butternut squash and took the sideshoots off the tomatoes Graham was flushing out the heater from the P6, it's not worked for years. It was blocked up with gunk, it's all clean now and ready to go back into the car

Thats was a busy day Cat! I went out intending to do another row of digging the bit of the long bed I haven't shown you all But I ended up dead heading the fab very old yellow rose on the side of the house,it has the most gorgeous scent, then dead headed all my plants in pots, found a slug so went on a slug hunt, got about 50 of the slimy critters. Needless so say the bed still needs digging

SueA, what kind of infra red camera do you have? I know you have said before, I was telling Graham about it and he's interested in getting one. We took some pics of a woodpecker the other day, I think it was a youngster too, it was quite funny watching trying to grab onto a tray of food and it slid right across it I'm really pleased we still have the Yellowhammers coming in, malke and female. Esp as they are red status.
