My new garden is 1/2 an acre in size and once Graham gets his garage in there will still be loads left for me to play with. I will be having a polytunnel in one corner which i intend to grow peach and nectarine tree's, and at least 6 raised beds for veg growing. Also there will about 6 other fruit tree's, raspberry canes, strawberries, thornless blackberyy and maybe a blackcurrant. I also will have a large greenhouse, but it will be next year before that goes up. Around the house we have a fenced off bit of garden which is going to be my flower garden. there are a few shrubs in there just now, including 2 camelias that are facing east!! i wonder if they have ever flowered successfully . I have alot of work to do but i know it will get done with lovely Grahams help

So - you have a 'blank canvas'? Lots of work, but great fun getting it as you want it - I can see you're full of plans, Rosie! ;D

Yes very exciting for you Rosie, bet you can't wait. It sounds as though you'll have to be very nice to Graham though. What are you going to make your raised beds with? Have you seen WF's, I recon she's raised the bar somewhat!

I will go out and take a few pics this afternoon to show you the garden as it is. My last raised beds were made with spare roof timbers Ron, 2"x10" they were great! Not sure this time though but it will be timber of some kind, probs very Heath Robinson ;D I have many plans Geranium but i am limited to what i can actually do, on a bad day nothing gets done

Don't I know it, Rosie. I'm still not out there fully after a bad few months healthwise, let alone the weather! Btw, how big was your garden at the old house?

Well - I bet you'll enjoy it, even if you have to grass some of it - or gravel it, maybe?

This is the front of the house and what will be the wee flower garden Our bit is far as the telegraph pole Looking in the opposite direction, but again ours is up to the pole. This is the main flower garden and sort of wraps around the house.
