Lou, you might have seen my photo of the Senecio - I grew one for the first time this year. I like it, and it would be great if it did seed itself. The flowers are very small, though!

Thanks all Just bought this Aconitum today at the Gateshead flower show (A. cammarum 'Bicolor'). I have always liked this variety and had just the spot for it! I also bought this copper leaved (none invasive!) Oxalis 'Sunset Velvet'. Not happy though as there was no mention of its lack of hardiness over winter!! It was amongst loads of other plants I'm familiar with that are perfectly hardy. Some people at these shows need a boot up the ****! Anyway.....my summer bedding plant/houseplant!

I like the Aconitum very much, but I won't have Oxalis in any shape or form, just in case it runs amok.

Are you growing it in sun, SteveN? My A. napellus needed sun, but I have A. carmichaelii in shade, thriving.
Yours is a beauty, and I hope it comes back next year for you.
