Lou, you might have seen my photo of the Senecio - I grew one for the first time this year. I like it, and it would be great if it did seed itself. The flowers are very small, though! Thats a very pretty plant there Geranium, i love the colour

Are you growing it in sun, SteveN? My A. napellus needed sun, but I have A. carmichaelii in shade, thriving. Yours is a beauty, and I hope it comes back next year for you. Sorry G, missed your reply It's half and half. Not really shade but out of direct sun untill about 3pm.

just ordered a new rose 'Alissar princess of Phoenicia' the bees should love it blooms change from cream to pink as they age

That is so pretty Grindle. I've been wondering about roses and bees, I don't always plant for the bees but it is an added bonus if it they are good for them too.

This is a new one this year according to the man on the Pococks stand, it's a form of Rosa persica. I like one or two of the open types for the insects WLF, the only downside is it doesn't have a perfume

Thats such a classy rose Grindle, just lovely My purchases aren't as exciting as Grindle's ;D i got an Ajuga for ground cover and a nice dark leaved Sedum for the bee's

Which Ajuga did you get Rosie? They are great for bees too. It's just the common Ajuga Reptans, i read they were good for bee's so i thought i would get one next time i saw one at the Happy Plant ;D
