That 'Rex' is a whopper steve . Lovely flowers lesley , I think I remember growing 'Painted Lady' a couple of years ago but they didn't look that good!

This is my Nandina domestica in flower. picture uploadingTel kindly sent me three unnamed Dahlias a while ago, and they're in pots by my front door now. Sadly, something is nibbling them, but this is what they're like. The foliage is dark and the flowers are very pretty. green shot

lesley, the Helenium looks just as good as the cover picture of a copy of the RHS mag dated this month last year. It looks a good plant. I have never grown Nandina Geranium but the flower is very unusual.

Goodness Geranium. I did not expect a flower like that. That is different and really lovely. It looks very special, as if it should be in a pot near the door. Mind, pots are worse off with me.

Thanks, Cherry, It's a shade lover, so it'll have to be planted in the soil somewhere. I don't think it would be happy in a pot. The flowers are beautiful close up, aren't they.
