Steve, you should save a fig leaf for Tel in case of emergency. This is one of the hardy fuchsias, Not 100% sure which it is:

I love Stephanandra and used to grow it, but it did not move with me. The colour is beautiful @hywel. Pity it didn't grow in your new garden. It's a lovely shrub. I had it in a tub, so it moved with no trouble

I did not actually bring it to Norfolk @hywel. I had to draw a line when it came to moving. I think Stephanandra would grow anywhere and I first met it at Billund, Denmark, 25 years ago when we went to Legoland. It was used extensively there, and I had never seen it before. I sold it every year at the village fete in Oxfordshire, so that it was all around that area too, but I have never seen it since that time.
