I know that one mustn't take more than 5 runners from one plant, but each runner has more than one plantlet. After pegging down the first plantlet into soil, is it possible to peg a second one from the same runner?

OH and me got through two big bowls of Elsanta with cream last night That is the variety I grew for years though I don't have any atm When the frozen roots are ready from Ken Muir I may well try another variety just to compare. personally I like strawberries whatever the variety and have enjoyed many without ever knowing what they were.

There's a lot to choose from SP, good idea to have a change. Everyone's taste is different of cause but I think some have lost the original flavour. I regret mixing 'Florence' with 'Finesse' but frankly I don't like either. I've decided to 'boost' my 'Irresistible' to get one more crop next year while my new varieties establish for 2013. I was given 4 vigorous 'Cambridge Favourite' plants when I ordered 'Frau Miese Schindler' so I'm taking runners from both.
