He probably tidied it all up because he had visitors! I loved the box balls, and liked the way the garden wasn't all pristine perfect.

I think that was part of the problem with the last series they never had any depth 10 minute or less slots and felt very bitty As for the new show I'm not convinced, it was on in the back ground, not compulsive viewing! but I suppose we have to let it warm up and see how it goes before we pass judgement, first impressions aren't always right. I think I'm trying to convince myself

I'm in agreement with you Poly, very little content of interest. Carol looking at huge Magnolia trees (beautiful but not for small gardens), Rachel fiddling around with pruning in Enid Blyton's old garden, and Monty dividing Acanthus.

When you think how many gardeners there are, wouldn't you think we could have more programmes. We have to many cooking programmes, it would cost more but something similar to GQT may work on TV.

I agree, Louise - not nearly as good as the first programme. Shame - it started so well.

I like the Blighty and the Eden channels. I've seen some good nature programmes on them.

"You can't please all of the people all...........ect. I would like a more 'in-depth' format on individual plants with maybe a little history on it. What would you like?

Most important is a presenter who's got the personality and enthusiasm to inspire. And, just one of them - not 2 or 3. Secondly are the topics - there should be just 2 or 3 per show and covered in reasonable depth. This would mean a longer time slot than 25-29 minutes, perhaps 30-40 instead. I don't see that this format would be in the least bit difficult - after all ONE presenter covering 2 or 3 topics ...... is it me ? ? ? ? It's not an expensive programme to make As i explain all this i am thinking of the Geoff Hamilton programmes ........ with me ?
