That is quite a few seeds you've sown. It has reminded me to sort my seeds out and see in there are any I should be sowing.
It's all coming along despite the weather. That is a huge compost bin, is it all for stuff from the allotment or will you get manure too?

Rob is off wok this week and has been sorting out the other half plot we have, he dug up a load of parsnips and leeks we had still in the ground, am hoping he gets that plot sorted this week so we can concentrate on the new one.Theres only one bed left to dig on the old plot so fingers crossed.
As I had to work all day,all I have had time to do is sow two types of leek Autumn king 3 and Leon prizetaker.
Oh and Rob managed to finish off the wire fence for the blackberries by putting the side supports up.

Sorry havent been able to update lately, my laptop is completely infected with nasty viruses so I have to do this from work at lunchtimes for now. We had really strong winds last weekend but luckily for us we didnt get any damage, unlike my neighbour down the allotment whos two year old greenhouse flew away and smashed to pieces! Felt really sorry for him. The cherry trees we planted seem to be doing well and a lot of the bushes are budding up to the currants. The rhubard is really on its way now.
We have progressed and got the first bit dug and i will try and get some pics to post on here soon.

Well lots more digging was done at the weekend and we now have about a 1/3 of the plot dug and sorted out The two beds that you can see on here being dug are now completely and we have measured out another two after them, thes will be for the dahlia plants. In front of the compost heap you can see the cherry trees and apple trees. At the back is the blackberry bushes, we renewed the support fence and also there is a tayberry and some raspberry canes thers with strawberry runners from the other plot at the bottom of them.

I have grown Edzell Blue spuds before candy, they are nice but they don't boil too well, better steamed if you can. Your plot is looking great now!!
